Become a Reunion Volunteer

Volunteer now!

Reunion volunteers are the planners, the fundraisers, the advocates, and the scribes of Reunion Weekend. They plan the events that will make the class Reunion memorable, help to raise money for the class gift, write special invitations, and make the calls that will bring classmates back to campus.

Reunion volunteers serve as the inspiration for Reunion events that will have special meaning to your class. Is there a place on campus your class wishes to revisit? A favorite faculty member they would like to have as a guest at your dinner or party? A topic they've always wanted to discuss with their classmates? The Alumni Office will handle logistics such as caterers and space reservations on campus, but Reunion volunteer ideas and enthusiasm are the foundation of a successful Reunion.

Perhaps the most important role of the Reunion volunteers is to inform their classmates about Reunion and entice them to return to campus. They lend their voice to mailings, make personal calls and write special notes to classmates to help spread the word. Volunteers find this part of their job especially rewarding since they get to catch up with friends while encouraging their classmates to participate in Reunion.
