Make a Reunion Gift

Make a Gift Online

Every year, members of each Reunion class join together to make a Reunion gift—a collective class contribution to the University made in honor of their graduation from the medical school. Any gift made to the Division of the Biological Sciences during the Reunion academic year counts toward the class gift. Pledges, as well as gifts, may be counted in their entirety toward the Reunion gift. If a pledge is to be paid in installments over several years (up to five), the total amount of the pledge will be credited to the Reunion gift. In order for gifts or pledges to count toward Reunion totals, they must be made during the Reunion year (July 1, 2007 – June 30, 2008).

Many of our alumni have asked about the role of the class gift in relation to The CHICAGO Initiative, which was launched in April of 2002. While the individual class dollar goals of Reunion gifts may seem like a small fraction of the $2 billion goal, they play a tremendously important role.

If you would like to find out more about contributing to your class gift, please contact your Reunion class chair or the Alumni Association Staff at (888) 303-0030 or alumni@bsd.uchicago.edu.
