Alumni Awards
The Gold Key and the Distinguished Service Awards will be given out on Friday, June 6, during Reunion Weekend 2008.
The Gold Key Award recognizes outstanding and loyal service to the Division of Biological Sciences and to the University of Chicago. This award is traditionally presented to Divisional faculty members who are at or near retirement.
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes alumni who have brought honor and distinction to the Division and to the University of Chicago by demonstrating outstanding leadership in, and making significant contributions to, the biological sciences or medicine through research, clinical care, health service administration, public and professional service, or civic duties.
